MTPro 4.1. Motor tester MT Pro 4.1

The MT Pro diagnostic complex allows you to effectively detect a malfunction in the following systems:

Ignition system

  • Determination of the condition of candles and candle wires (carbon deposits, breaks, breakdowns)
  • Determination of operating modes and malfunctions of the ignition coil (interturn short circuits, control of correct connection, breakdowns)
  • Diagnostics of sensors of the ignition system (inductive, hall)
  • Determination of ignition timing (without stroboscope)

Fuel supply system

  • Electrical check of fuel injectors (turn-to-turn short circuits of the injector windings, duration of the injection phase, etc.)
  • Checking the operation of temperature sensors, throttle position, oxygen sensor, mass air flow sensor, etc.
  • Checking the operation of actuators (idle speed controller, etc.)

Gas distribution system

  • Evaluation of relative compression by cylinders in the starter scrolling mode
  • Measurement of compression in dynamics (with the engine running) and in scroll mode
  • Determining the correct installation of the timing belt
  • Valve control

Power and Charging System

  • Checking the operation of the generator and the battery charging system

Functionality

  • Simultaneous display on the screen of data from 1, 2, 3 … 7, 8 analog channels and the 9th synchronization channel
  • Possibility of synchronization from the signals of almost all electrical circuits of the car
  • Long signal acquisition time (limited by available disk space)

Notes:

1) The maximum sampling rate is only proportional to the number of general purpose analog channels enabled, the sync channel does not affect the maximum sampling rate.
2) Due to the use of 12 subranges, the overall measurement accuracy increases by 12 times.
3) The protection diode is built into the power cable, there is no protection diode in the MT Pro 4.0 itself.
4) In the MT Pro 4.1 power node
Added protection against: reversal, overvoltage, supply voltage ripple, if the permissible value of the supply voltage is exceeded for a long time, the protective resistor-fuse will burn out, with a short supply voltage surge, nothing will happen.
Implemented galvanic isolation for power, i.e. the power source, such as a PC USB port, will be galvanically isolated from the instrument’s measuring circuits.
The patch cord supplied with the kit has a built-in power line for the device from the USB port of the PC, i.e. data exchange (high noise immunity Ethernet) and power supply (galvanic isolation) go over one cable.
